Shokz Presents: OpenMove Open-Ear Bluetooth Sport Headphones

The Ultimate Solution for Sweatproof Fitness Audio, Bone Conduction Sound, and Open-Ear Situational Awareness

Conventional headphones and earbuds often create significant drawbacks during active workouts, outdoor runs, or cycling sessions. In-ear models can cause eardrum discomfort, accumulate sweat, and shift during movement, whereas over-ear designs tend to retain heat and obscure critical environmental cues, including traffic, sirens, and nearby pedestrians.

The Shokz OpenMove Wireless Headphones (Grey) offer an accessible introduction to open-ear sound, transmitting audio straight through your cheekbones while keeping your ear canals completely unobstructed. Built by Shokz (formerly AfterShokz)—a global leader in patented bone conduction technology available via its direct-to-consumer store and official Amazon storefront—these headphones enhance active daily listening. Combining 7th generation bone conduction innovation, a flexible titanium fit band, IP55 sweat resistance, and an included sticker pack, Shokz delivers essential situational awareness for daily commutes, workouts, and routine wear.

Upgrading your workout audio gear requires more than basic wireless earbuds; it demands an ergonomic, lightweight design built with multi-point Bluetooth pairing, clear microphone performance, and long battery life. Available on Amazon in Slate Grey (packaged with an exclusive decorative sticker pack), Shokz OpenMove offers a clean, hassle-free audio solution for athletes, remote workers, and active individuals alike.

The Story Behind Shokz Innovations

Established in 2011, Shokz transformed personal listening by adapting bone conduction technology—originally developed for military and medical applications—for everyday consumers. Recognizing that covering or plugging the ear canal creates physical irritation over long periods and introduces safety hazards during outdoor activities, Shokz designed an innovative alternative to conventional speakers.

Instead of transmitting sound waves through air into the ear canal, the OpenMove utilizes 7th Generation Bone Conduction Technology (PremiumPitch™ 2.0). Transducers sit comfortably on the cheekbones, delivering micro-vibrations through facial bones straight to the inner ear (cochlea) and bypassing the eardrum completely.

By building the OpenMove around a lightweight Partial Titanium Frame that weighs a mere 29 grams, Shokz attained a significant breakthrough in ergonomic design. This adaptable wraparound structure securely stabilizes the transducers through intense workouts without creating uncomfortable pressure. Supported by a broad portfolio of patents and relied upon by millions of outdoor enthusiasts and runners global wide, Shokz continues to stand as an industry leader in open-ear sports audio across leading retail channels.
